Specializing in helping BIPOC locate their ancestor in the Dawes Rolls in order to pursue tribal enrollment. This service is available for ANYONE interested. The Dawes Rolls list individuals who lived with their nation in Indian Territory between 1898 and 1914, who chose to apply, and were approved by the Dawes Commission. It consists of American Indians from the five civilized tribes (Cherokee, Creek, Choctaw, Chikasaw and Seminole) These tribes use the Dawes Rolls as the basis for determining tribal membership.
